Information Collection
Clearpoint Agency is the sole owner of information collected on our site. Any data we collect is used only to help us better serve our clients, therefore, it is a general policy to collect and store only information that our clients and visitors knowingly provide. If this policy changes, we will notify all users via email or a special announcement placed on the site.
Users to the public areas of our site browse anonymously. Only aggregate data, such as the number of hits per section or page, are collected. Aggregate data are used for internal and marketing purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.
Use of Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions.
Cookies are used on our site only to provide user navigation and areas of interest in aggregate form.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. IP addresses are not tied to personally identifiable information to enable our Web-based service. We use a tracking utility called WebTrends that uses log files to analyze user movement.

We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy policy statements of other sites that collect identifiable information.
