Clearpoint Agency Earns Three Bernays Awards from PRSA, San Diego, and Is Named Finalist in PR Daily’s Digital PR Awards

Public relations, social media and marketing communications firm’s work recognized among the industry’s finest

SAN DIEGO – Sept. 27, 2013 Clearpoint Agency, Inc., a public relations and marketing communications firm, received three awards at Wednesday night’s San Diego Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Edward L. Bernays Awards. The agency continues its long tradition of winning a Bernays award every year for which it has entered. The ceremony took place at SeaWorld San Diego, where San Diego’s best and brightest PR professionals gathered to celebrate outstanding PR professionals, campaigns and tactics.

Clearpoint also recently placed as a finalist in PR Daily’s Digital PR Awards 2013 for best website, for the agency’s own website redesign. Winners will be announced in October.

During the Bernays event, the Award of Excellence for internal communications was presented to Clearpoint and its graphic design partner on the project, Diseño Communications, for communications they created for SynteractHCR, Inc., an international contract research organization. The two agencies collaborated to produce messaging, PR, website and social media content, advertising, logos, brochures, and a Global Town Hall to rebrand the company for its acquisition of and merger with Harrison Clinical Research earlier this year.

Clearpoint received the Award of Excellence for its own blog, “A Clear View,” which delivers the agency’s viewpoint on PR, marketing, social media, and creatively communicating a vision to the world.

The agency was also honored with an Award of Merit for its work with Oberon Fuels in business-to-business media relations. Clearpoint supported a launch event in Sacramento for the alternative fuels production company, which announced its DME production facilities and significant agreements with trucking and retail partners. Clearpoint garnered substantial media coverage with more than 40 media hits and attendance from industry influencers, government officials and media reporters.
